Raffia bag: Designer selection for summer 2022
Straw, wicker, rattan, basket, raffia bag... whatever you like to call it, one thing's for sure: It's the summer bag trend that will never die. Since 2021, they have been everywhere on the runaway and in the streets. There is SO many good looking straw bag out there! Some that we have been seeing for quite a while now (Le Panier Soleil from Jacquemus) but also some brand new ones for this 2022 raffia bag edition! Plus, as the weather warms up and we spend more time outdoors, we need a good companion that we can fill up with our sunnies, sun cream, beach strolls etc!
Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Tote Bag
With its beautiful natural beige colors, the YLS Tote Bag is my favorite pick. Practical and robust, this bag will be your go to bag this summer wether you are going to the office or at the beach! The 17 centimeters handle will allow you to wear it on your shoulder, a necessity when you are on the run in between meetings or running after the kids at the park. The interior has one main compartment, which you can make the best of by buying a bag organizer if you are an organization freak like me! This designer straw bag is embroidered in Rafia with the leather handles. I think that the leather handles of this YSL rafia tote make a massive difference compare to other tote as in summer, you hand tends to sweat a lot and leather will be more resistant while aging beautifully.

I love the raffia and wood variation and especially the vintage vibe that it brings to an outfit. Prada describe it as "a new interpretation of Prada's emblematic triangle decorates the front and is embellished with the embroidered lettering logo."
Not only a beach bag, I love how Lucy Williams is wearing it with a white tank top and jean overall. This fresh yellow color on the Prada raffia bag ad the perfect touch to her outfit.

Even though this tote has been trending since 3 years already, I still find him very cute. This light blue is a perfect summer colors.
Made entirely from suede-trimmed, hand-woven straw, it has snap-buttoned top handles, a flap pocket and gold-toned studs and logo detailing. This raffia bag from Jacquemus is quite practical for the beach or for an early market run to pick fresh vegetables, I would recommend being careful with the top handles in suede as it could easily look dirty if you are not be careful with them.

How can we not talk about the beautiful Loewe basket tote! With its embossed leather logo patch at face and its twin adjustable buffed calfskin carry handles, I found it very practical and resistant.
