Then you might think why would I buy one, when I can get multiple for the same price? Well thats one way to look at things regarding the Multi pochette Louis Vuitton or the Multi Pochette Prada (also called Hobo). However the Multi Pochette style is not for everyone.
Celebrities, such as Gigi Hadid, Chiara Ferragni and Hailey Bieber. Even many well known influencers like Caroline Daur, Sarah Ellen and Veronica Ferraro have been spotted with these two "it-bags".

Let's take a second to focus on the Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette. Louis Vuitton described it as a "totally versatile everyday bag". And that's actually true. This bag is a hybrid of sorts, featuring a large Pochette Bag, a Mini Pochette Accessory and a round coin-purse for $1,550! Another cool thing about this bag: you can wear it in many different ways! From your casual everyday streetwear such as jeans and a t-shirt, through to a night out with just a simple dress and the gold chain purse on its own!

Why the Multi Pochette bags are trending right now?
Another popular example of this trend is the Prada Multi Pochette Bag Re-Edition 2005. The Prada Re-Edition bag, which is a revamp of the 2005 Bandoliera Tessuto, is also known as the “Prada Hobo”. Are the Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette or the Prada Hobo good investments?
I wouldn't think so. Only because it's a trend since summer 2019 coming back from the 2000s vintage look. It is certainly a hot trend for now, but how long will it last? That's always the re-occurring question when it comes to "it bags".

Take a minute to think before you add these bags to your wish list. Do you truly like the design? Does it mix well with your style? OR is it because you've been seeing it for months all over Instagram, on the shoulders of many prevalent Influencers? Marketing, that's their trick! If the answers to the first two of these questions are a YES, then go for it!

From my view point, the Multi Pochette bags doesn't quite do the trick. It's cool but it is not a "versatile" bag to have in your closet, and you are limited as to what you can and cant wear with it. I think it's a matter of months before this trend will pass, and the bag will go out of style just as quickly as it had come.
